Developed by the American Road and Transportation Builders Association, and sponsored by the U.S. Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, Turning Point: Roadway Work Zone Safety for New Drivers is a program with one goal in mind – keeping new drivers alive and safe in work zones. Turning Point aims to help existing driver education programs supplement their efforts and education materials with new impetus and instructional tools.

Washington State Department of Transportation supports this effort by offering this training information to the drivers education programs statewide.

WSDOT offers other key links to educate new drivers about safe driving in roadway work zones.
