Public Transportation - Grants - Formula Grant Program

Awarded for 2017-2019 biennium

WSDOT awarded more than $48.7 million in formula-based public transportation grants—appropriating current-law funding along with new revenue from the Governor's Connecting Washington initiative—to transit agencies for projects beginning July 1, 2017, through June 30, 2019. These grants improve public transportation for Washington residents, particularly for persons with disabilities, seniors, children and people in rural areas.
