1, Tuesday, 6:30 - 9 p.m., Ferry Advisory Committee Meeting - Port Orchard: WSDOT's Ferry Division is holding a public meeting to share information regarding the recent legislative ferry financing study and to hear customer's comments related to this ferry route. Location: Long Lake Bob Oake Community Center, 5448 Long Lake Road SE, Port Orchard.

10, Thursday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m., Organizational meeting, 520 Implementation Committee - Seattle: This is the second organizational meeting of the 520 Implementation Committee.  The meeting will include briefings on tolling technology (how "no tollbooths" work); active traffic management and smart highways; and partnerships with businesses to reduce commuter trips.  Location: Sound Transit Board Room, 401 S. Jackson, Seattle.

10, Thursday, 4 - 7 p.m., Public hearing, Alaskan Way Viaduct - Seattle: Join FHWA and WSDOT at an Environmental Assessment (EA) public hearing about replacing the southern mile of the Alaskan Way Viaduct.  The EA report details the environmental effects of the project, how it will be built and the construction schedule. Location: Town Hall, 1119 Eighth Ave., Seattle.

15 & 16, Tuesday & Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monthly meeting, Washington State Transportation Commission - Olympia:  The Transportation Commission, an independent state agency, will hold its regular monthly meeting.  Location: Transportation Building, Commission Board Room, 310 Maple Park Avenue SE, Olympia.

22, Tuesday, 5 - 7 p.m., Open house, Long-Term Air Transportation Study - Mukilteo: The Washington Aviation Planning Council is seeking public comments on draft statewide aviation policies being developed as part of the Long-Term Air Transportation Study. These policies address land use, environment, capacity, new technology, safety, mobility, preservation, access and economy.  Location: Future of Flight Aviation Center, 8415 Paine Field Boulevard, Mukilteo.

24, Thursday, 4 - 7:30 p.m., Stakeholder Advisory Committee Meeting, Alaskan Way Viaduct - Seattle: The Alaskan Way Viaduct program office will host the next Central Waterfront Stakeholder Advisory Committee meeting.  The committee is a group of 30 people representing various constituencies and community groups and is led by WSDOT, King County Department of Transportation, and Seattle Department of Transportation.  Location: Bertha Landes Room, Seattle City Hall, 600 Fourth Avenue, Seattle.

24, Thursday, 5 - 7 p.m., Open house, Long-Term Air Transportation Study - Wenatchee: The Washington Aviation Planning Council is seeking public comments on draft statewide aviation policies being developed as part of the Long-Term Air Transportation Study.
