Two eastbound lanes will turn left and now only one will go through to the Eastmont extension

Wenatchee – If you travel over the US 2/97 Odabashian Bridge be forewarned that traffic flow is being revised at the east end intersection next week.

For 5 nights starting this Sunday at 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. each morning through Friday, expect flaggers, lane closures and lane shifts as needed while crews change the pavement markings, the signage and modify the traffic signals to make two left turn lanes instead of one from Eastbound US 2/97 (from the bridge) to Northbound US 2/97 (toward Orondo). Only one lane will now go through; up Eastmont.

Traffic studies since the new intersection was completed show more turning traffic than through traffic coming off the bridge, prompting the change for eastbound traffic.
