The Methow Valley State Airport in Winthrop will be closed Monday, October 18 through Thursday, October 21 for asphalt pavement crack and runway edge repairs. The runway will re-open on Friday, October 22 and remain open for the weekend.
Runway 13/31 will be closed for additional maintenance on Monday, October 25 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WSDOT is performing the maintenance in order to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards, which will ensure that the pavement remains in safe and usable condition.
