Technical presentation and public meeting on Aug. 19
SEATTLE – A team of representatives from the state, city of Seattle and transit agencies will meet again to discuss design refinements for the new State Route 520 at a workgroup meeting Aug. 19. The public and the media are welcome to attend.
The state Legislature directed the workgroup be formed to consider design refinements to the SR 520 preferred alternative from I-5 to Medina. When Gov. Chris Gregoire announced the preferred alternative in April, she acknowledged that the legislation, ESSB 6392, called for further meetings this summer to address design refinements and transit connections in the plans.
