SEATTLE – Drivers hoping to check their commute throughout Puget Sound using WSDOT cameras are running into black space. About 30 percent of WSDOT cameras along key corridors are not working. The cameras are on the following routes: I-5, SR 520. I-90. I-405, SR 527, SR 202, and SR 18.

WSDOT engineers have determined that the freezing temperatures have frozen parts of the fiber lines that carry data between the field and the information hub in Shoreline.

We are working to fix the problem. Until then, drivers can check the working cameras, check the flow map or call 511.
