VANCOUVER – Drivers on westbound State Route 14 in Vancouver will notice closed on- and off -ramps at the Lieser Road Interchange, at night time this week. Starting at 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, until 6 a.m. on Friday, July 25, the Lieser Rd. on- and off-ramp on westbound SR 14 will be closed for paving.
The paving is part of the SR 14, Lieser Road Interchange Ramp Signalization Project. Due to be completed this August, this project is improving the State Route 14 ramp at Lieser Road by installing a traffic signal at the westbound off-ramp and Lieser Road, and making other minor improvements, such as paving.
For more information about the SR 14, Lieser Road Interchange Ramp Signalization Project, visit the project page at: http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/projects/SR14/LieserRoadRampSignals/
Advance warning signs will be placed ahead of the construction area, and motorists are asked to observe and adhere to the posted speed limits when driving through the work zone. Motorists are also reminded that all traffic fines are doubled within a construction work zone when workers are present (RCW 46.61.527).
