OLYMPIA – Drivers traveling on US 101 southbound near the State Route 8 intersection west of Olympia should prepare for delays Wednesday, Jan. 16, while WSDOT crews remove rock and debris from recent mudslides.
Crews plan to close the right lane from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The operation requires single-lane closures and periodic closures – lasting up to 30 minutes – in both directions to allow trucks access to the site.
Drivers can call 5-1-1 or visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/ for road and traffic updates.
