On November 1, 2007 members of the Governor appointed Aviation Planning Council will meet for the first time to begin the final phase of the Long-Term Air Transportation Study (LATS). The meeting will take place at the Museum of Flight, 9404 East Marginal Way South, Seattle, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The planning council will receive an overview of LATS and review start-up organizational and administrative matters. Members of the public may attend.

Authorized by the state legislature in 2005, LATS is a three phase study to determine what we have, what we need and how to meet the needs regarding statewide general and commercial aviation capacity. Learn more about LATS.
