NASELLE – Restroom facilities at the State Route 401 Dismal Nitch Rest Area have closed after a break in the water line, announced the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). The rest area will remain open, with portable toilet units and hand sanitizers available to the public.
Crews are assessing the water line break. Depending on the severity of the line break, the restroom facilities should reopen late this week.
The Dismal Nitch Rest Area is located one mile east of the Astoria - Megler bridge on SR 401.
