KIRKLAND – Next week crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation plan to stripe the roadway and ramps between NE 85th and NE 124th Streets; and modify the southbound I-405 off-ramp to westbound NE 85th Street. Construction closures affecting I-405 traffic in Kirkland the week of October 12-19 include:
I-405 Mainline
Friday, Oct. 12 through Friday, Oct. 19, weather permitting, crews will close up to three lanes in each direction during the night and early morning hours between NE 85th and NE 116th Streets to finish striping the roadway and install signs. I-405 Ramps
Friday, Oct. 12 through Friday, Oct. 19, weather permitting, crews will close various ramps at NE 85th, NE 116th, and NE 124th Streets during the night and early morning hours to finish striping the ramps. NE 85th Street/I-405 Interchange
Saturday, Oct. 14 through Saturday, Oct. 20, weather permitting, crews will close one westbound right lane on NE 85th Street near I-405 from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. while crews modify the southbound I-405 off-ramp to westbound NE 85th Street.
