MONTESANO – Final touches to a paving project on US 12 will be made Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12-13, if weather cooperates.
Motorists can expect rolling slow downs and short-term shoulder closures on US 12 from mileposts 8.3 to 21 while crews install raised pavement markings and plastic edge stripes.
In addition, there will be temporary lane closures with alternating one-way traffic control on a three-block stretch of SR 107 in Montesano between the railroad track and the south city limits.
Work hours are 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
About 20,000 vehicles travel this stretch of US 12 on an average weekday.
Drivers can call 5-1-1 or visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/traffic/ for road and traffic updates.
