SILVERDALE – Crews will install sign bridges over State Route 303 at SR 3 Thursday, Oct. 12. Sign bridges are steel structures that support highway directional signs.
During the installation, crews will implement intermittent one-hour closures of SR 303 from 11 p.m. Thursday until 4 a.m. Friday. The closures are necessary because it is unsafe for motorists to be on the roadway while the installation takes place overhead.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes and can get up-to-the-minute traffic and road conditions by dialing 5-1-1 or by visiting www.wsdot.wa.go/traffic .
For more information on the SR 3/SR 303 Interchange, motorists can visit www.wsdot.wa.gov/Projects/SR3/WaagaWay/.
