Puget Sound Area Traffic Cameras Out of Service

SEATTLE – WSDOT’s Puget Sound area traffic cameras are currently out of service due to a server problem. This means that the camera snapshots on the Seattle area traffic flow map will not show current traffic conditions. The outage does not affect the color-coded flow map or online travel times.

The traffic cameras are also used by our traffic management staff to visually locate and confirm incidents that are blocking lanes on area roadways. Traffic management engineers will use other resources to confirm incidents so we can continue to alert drivers to problems while the cameras are out.

We are working to correct the problem as soon as possible, but the outage could last through the evening commute. Drivers can still get information about current travel conditions using our other online and on-the-road tools:
