KIRKLAND –
This week’s revised construction closures schedule for Tuesday through Thursday on northbound and southbound I-405 in Kirkland includes:
I-405 Mainline
- Tuesday through Thursday nights, crews will close up to three northbound lanes from NE 85th to NE 124th Streets to pave the roadway. The first lane will close at 9 p.m. each night with up to three lanes closed by midnight. At least one lane will remain open to traffic. All lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. each following morning.
- Tuesday through Thursday nights, crews will close up to three southbound lanes from NE 116th to NE 85th Streets to pave the roadway and replace storm drains. The first lane will close at 7 p.m. each night with up to three lanes closed by 11 p.m. All lanes will reopen by 5 a.m. each following morning.
- Tuesday through Thursday, drivers should expect daily closures of the far right northbound lane between NE 85th and NE 116th Streets except during rush hours while crews install signs, inspect pavement and conduct plant maintenance.
- Tuesday through Thursday, expect daily closures of the far right southbound lane between NE 85th and NE 116th Streets except during rush hours while crews inspect pavement and conduct plant maintenance.
I-405/ NE 85th Street Interchange
- Tuesday through Thursday nights, crews will close the southbound off-ramp to NE 85th Street from 9 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. each following morning to pave the off-ramp. A signed detour will be in place.
I-405/NE 116th Street Interchange
- Wednesday and Thursday nights, crews will close the southbound on-ramp from NE 116th Street from 9 p.m. each night to 5 a.m. each following morning to pave the on-ramp and install traffic detectors. A signed detour will be in place.
I-405/NE 124th Street Interchange
- Tuesday and Thursday nights, crews will close the northbound off-ramp to NE 124th Street from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. each following morning to pave the roadway. A signed detour will be in place.
