SEATTLE – WSDOT crews will close two lanes on westbound I-90 at State Route 18 overnight Monday, July 30 to remove two eight-foot-long sections of failing concrete.
Crews will close lanes starting at 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. the following morning. One lane will remain open at all times.
During the closure, crews will use jackhammers to remove the old pavement then fill the eight-foot by six-foot section with hot asphalt. This should help prevent further cracking. This work will be noisy.
