UNION – Taking down a cottonwood tree that’s creating a safety hazard requires a three-hour closure of State Route 106 Tuesday morning.
Workers will close the highway at Twanoh State Park from 9 a.m. to noon. Crews from WSDOT, PUD 1 and Wave Broadband are working together to remove the tree.
Drivers are advised to use alternate routes during closure.
