BATTLE GROUND - The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) will host a fourth community open house for the SR 502 Corridor Widening Project Thursday, June 14, from 4-7 p.m. Local residents, business owners and property owners are invited to attend the event at the Battle Ground High School cafeteria, at 300 West Main Street.

At the June 14 open house, participants will have an opportunity to review the alternatives selected for further study and refinement over the summer; learn about the process used to select the alternatives; find out how the alternatives will be studied and refined; and provide comments.

After preliminary study and consideration of community input received at open houses in February, March, and May, WSDOT will now do a focused study on three refined alternatives for improving the SR 502 Corridor between Battle Ground and the new I-5 interchange. These alternatives represent the better elements of the seven conceptual alignments considered to date.

The project team is carefully listening to the public feedback consider the public’s opinion during the ongoing process.
