Toll rate increase in effect for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

July 1 ,2008 toll increase for the Tacoma Narrows Bridge

• The toll for a two axle vehicle will increase to $2.75 for customers with
  Good To Go!, and to $4 for customers without Good To Go!. Additional information about toll rates is on the toll rate page.
• Customers with Good To Go! will need to maintain a balance of $8 or greater.
• With the toll increase, the toll infraction amount also increases to $52 (from $49).

How it works

• Good To Go! is the electronic tolling program in Washington State. Electronic tolling gives drivers the ability to pay tolls without stopping.   
• Electronic tolls are collected with a transponder, which is about the size of a credit card.  Install the transponder on the interior of your windshield.
• When you drive in the Good To Go! electronic toll lanes, an overhead antenna links your transponder to your account information, and deducts the correct toll from your prepaid account.
• The easiest way to manage your account is with automatic replenishment.  Provide credit card information on your account so a payment is automatically collected when the balance gets low.
