F/V/SW: New emergency two boat schedule available at terminals after Dec.16
On December 28, 2014, the Fauntleroy/ Vashon/Southworth emergency two boat schedule will change. WSF provides customers with a two-boat schedule to assist in weekend and weekday trip planning when a third boat is unavailable due to planned or unplanned service disruptions. The revised emergency two boat schedule is valid beginning Dec. 28 until further notice (it is not a seasonal schedule). Please discard all previous versions of the emergency two-boat schedule. Hard copies of the new emergency two boat schedule will be available at all terminals on this route beginning Dec. 17

Due to pending vessel repositioning, the galley on the Chelan is closed for the remainder of the day. See the Online Schedule Page to view the affected sailings. The Chelan is currently in sailing position #2.

Ana/SJs - Vehicle Reservations Available for Jan. 5 through Mar. 21
Vehicle reservations for Jan. 5 through Mar. 21 are now available on the San Juan Island routes. Currently, thirty percent of standard vehicle space is available to reserve on each sailing. An additional thirty percent of space will be available two weeks prior to each sailing, and the final thirty percent will open 2 days prior to each sailing.

Online reservations are available 24/7 at the Save a Spot website. WSF staff are currently available to assist our customers by phone from 7:00 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. by calling 206-464-6400 or 1-888-808-7977.

Edm/King - Reminder - Reduced vehicle capacity begins Friday, Dec. 12
The 144-car Tokitae temporarily replaces the Walla Walla on the Edmonds/Kingston route Saturday evening, December 13, through mid-day Wednesday, December 17. This temporary vessel assignment will reduce capacity on the Edmonds/Kingston route by 44 vehicles on half of all scheduled sailings. Drivers should expect longer than usual wait times. Alternate route: Seattle/Bainbridge Island.

This temporary downsizing is needed to maintain a full sailing schedule while the Puyallup is out of service for its annual mandatory U.S. Coast Guard safety inspection.

Ana/SJs - Sealth replaces Yakima on Friday, Dec. 12
The 90-car Sealth returns to the islands and replaces the 144-car Yakima on the Anacortes/San Juan Island route beginning Friday, December 12. The Sealth will operate in the #3 sailing schedule. Drivers are encouraged to plan their travels accordingly.

The 188-car Walla Walla temporarily replaces the Puyallup on the Seattle/Bainbridge Island route Friday, Dec. 12, through mid-day Wednesday, Dec. 17. Anacortes/Sidney BC - Identification is required
U.S. and Canadian citizens 16 years of age and older traveling to or from Sidney BC must have one of the following designated documents: current passport, current passport card, enhanced driver's license (EDL), or "trusted traveler" document such as a Nexus Card. Travelers must have required travel documents ready and in hand upon arrival at the tollbooth.

Sea/Brem/BI - Reminder - Season 2 of Seawall Construction
Season 2 of seawall construction has begun. Ferry terminal access on Alaskan Way has shifted one block south, from Spring Street to just south of the intersection of Madison Street. Pedestrian and bicycle access to Colman Dock will be maintained in the current locations.

Faunt/Va/SW - Vehicle Queue Policies at Fauntleroy
During the Barton Pump Station Upgrade project no left hand turns into the terminal will be allowed, except for the Vanpools and Carpools, between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm Mon - Fri.

Customers lining up at Fauntleroy should note that the ferry queue continues along Fauntleroy Way at the gas station at the north end of Lincoln Park; it does not go down 47th Ave. SW toward the beach. Please also note that line cutting is against state law and subject to a fine of up to $124. We ask that customers be respectful of others waiting in the queue. You can report line-cutters by calling 877-764-HERO. All violators are logged and receive a warning letter. Multiple violations result in further action.
