This plan depicts the installation of a sign support on the top of a precast concrete barrier in a median of a divided highway.
In order to be in compliance with the 2003 MUTCD, this sign support design can only be used when the distance from the edge of the sign to the edge of the traffic lane is 12 feet or greater.
