Ramp meter set to smooth traffic flow on southbound I-5 in Lacey

A congestion-relieving tool is set to help southbound Interstate 5 travelers in Lacey. The Washington State Department of Transportation will soon activate a new ramp meter at the Marvin Road on-ramp to southbound I-5. The ramp meter is scheduled to turn on Monday, Aug. 1.

Full closure of SR 520, Revive I-5 work planned for July 9-10 weekend; closures begin late Friday night

This weekend, travelers need to plan and find alternate routes for trips across Lake Washington and southbound Interstate 5. Beginning Friday night, July 8, State Route 520 will close across the lake and southbound I-5 will be reduced to two lanes near the stadiums all weekend.
