Construction Closures
  • Monday, July 13 until further notice: Travelers on both directions of US 97, between Indian Service Road and Wilson Charley Road, will encounter intermittent single lane closures with flaggers, daily, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for construction of the new bridge.

    Note: The speed limit through the work zone has been temporarily reduced from 65 mph to 40 mph. This speed limit reduction will remain in place throughout construction
  • On SR 26 between milepost 1 and 5, Monday, Tuesday and Friday, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays where the contractor is chipsealing wheelruts.
  • SR-240 milepost 33 Richland vicinity: Access to Duportail Rd. to and from SR-240 is closed 24 hours a day, seven days a week for roadway construction improvements. Detours will be place. Expect SR-240 in both directions at Duportail Rd. intersection to have single lane closure and speed reduction.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 114 vicinity, in Kennewick, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, there will be a right lane closure with a reduced speed in place 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.
  • US-12 both directions milepost 148 to milepost 149 White Pass area: Monday Aug. 10 through Friday Aug. 14 during daytime hours, traffic should be prepared for flagged traffic control. Traffic should anticipate up to 20 minute delays.
  • SR-225 both directions milepost 2 to 11 near Benton City: Wednesday Aug. 12 through Friday Aug. 14 during daytime hours, traffic should be prepared for flagged traffic control. Traffic should anticipate up to 15 minute delays.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 33, Fair Avenue and the I-82 on ramp, Yakima: Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. over the next few weeks, the work zone on Fair Ave. will be limited to a single lane at times and drivers may experience minor delays. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes if possible. Motorcycles should use extreme caution through the work zone. I-82 main line is not affected.
