Blocking Incidents
  • Monday, Sept. 17 to the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 18: Both directions of US 97 between the SR 14/US 97 interchange (milepost 100.6) and Toppenish (milepost 57.0) will close intermittently with flaggers, overnight, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for transporting a windmill transformer.
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. View our blog for updates about the bridge's future.
Construction Closures
  • I-90 North Bend to Vantage Bridge: Lane closures this week for construction activity 24/7 from North Bend to Denny Creek. Plan for added travel time. Night time lane closures east of Snoqualmie Pass. Maintenance work will require lane closures west of Ellensburg, Easton, Cle Elum, and Vantage vicinities.
  • On SR 285 through Wenatchee Sunday through Thursday NIGHTS, 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., expect single and multi-lane closures on Mission St. and N. Wenatchee Ave. and some side streets.
    Crews are paving Mission St. from 2nd St. to Miller.
    Pavement grinding continues on Mission from Bridge St. to Kittitas.
    Sidewalk and curb ramp work continues from Kittitas to 2nd.
    Expect traffic signal work between Kittitas and 1st St.
    Expect to see paint line spotting showing up throughout project limits.
  • US-12 milepost 158 to 167, both directions, east of White Pass: Friday, Sept. 21 at 6 A.M. US- 12 will be closed. The Tieton Reservoir Rd. will be utilized for a detour route. Full closure will be from Friday, Sept. 21 to Sunday, Oct. 7.
  • Monday, Sept. 17, to the morning of Friday, Sept. 21 - A single lane of eastbound I-90 between the Raging River Bridge and SR 18 will be closed from 8 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. nightly/daily.
  • US-12 MP 198 Nelson Bridges, west of Yakima: Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in both directions seven days a weeks, 24 hours a day, through Sept. 28. Traffic should anticipate minor delays.
  • US 97 over Blewett Pass is open. Finish work on the culvert replacement project continues. Expect some occasional lane closures as needed through the end of the month.
  • On US 2 at School Street Monday through Thursday NIGHTS, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., expect the right lane to be closed where a Wenatchee City contractor is installing a sewer line in the right shoulder.
