Needs & benefits

This project will rehabilitate nearly 5 miles of Interstate 90 in both directions by grinding out the current pavement and inlaying new HMA (Hot Mix Asphalt) on the roadway to create a smoother ride.

Timeline

Construction on the project is expected to begin in the spring and last through the summer.

An online open house and survey will be held from Feb.10-28 to gain community opinion on safety, cost and visual quality elements of the corridor.

Project expected to go to ad May 26.

Needs & benefits

Reduce the risk and severity of run off the road collisions throughout the highway corridor by removing vertical rock cuts and outcrops from the median or by shielding the rock with a barrier.
