Project news

  • Once under construction, SR 7 will close during daytime hours Monday through Thursday between SR 161 and the Alder Cutoff Road.  The daytime closure is necessary due to the nature of the work.
  • Drivers will detour during daytime hours using SR 161 and Alder Cutoff Road East. Local access will be provided on SR 7 up to the work zone.
  • SR 7 will re-open at night.

Improves Safety

This project will stabilize the hillside by removing trees and debris. Crews will install wire mesh to prevent debris from entering SR 7 and causing highway closures.
