  • Thank you to all those who took the time to participate in our initial survey regarding the SR 240 corridor. We had 2,494 responses from September 19 - October 23 and got excellent feedback on how people use the corridor, what the major issues are between I-182 and SR 225, and your ideas addressing those issues. 
  • Design for this project is expected to start summer 2019.

Needs & Benefits

SR 240 in Richland is experiencing increased congestion at several existing intersections. This project will improve safety and operational efficiency by adding acceleration and deceleration lanes, adding double left turn lanes and upgrading traffic signals.
