Blocking Incidents
  • On US 2 Stevens Pass between milepost 61.9 and 70.5, a reduced speed zone of 50 m.p.h. is in place due to rough road and potholing. Travelers should remain attentive for pot holing of the road through this section of highway and always drive for conditions. Repairs to this stretch of road are planned for June when it is warm enough for hot mix treatment.
Construction Closures
  • On US 2 between milepost 58 and 79 (Stevens Pass), Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m., travelers can expect flagger controlled traffic with delays of 30 minutes where a contractor is removing hazard trees.
  • On SR 971 between milepost 0 and 15 (Navarre Coulee Rd.), Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., expect automatic flagging assistance device with pilot car and delays up to 20 minutes where the crew is cracksealing the roadway.
  • On SR 20 between milepost 209-215 (Loup Loup Pass), Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and delays up to 20 minutes where the crew is paving the roadway.
  • On SR 20 between milepost 157 and 165 (Washington/Rainy Passes), Monday through Thursday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with pilot car and delays up to 20 minutes where the crew is paving the roadway.
  • On US 97 at milepost 213 (near The Market Place in Orondo), Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., northbound traffic will be detoured to US 2 to the US 97 Spur back to US 97 around the work zone, and southbound lane will be shifted around the work zone with shoulder closures. Travelers should plan for slow downs through Orondo during working hours.
  • Sunday, June 20, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 - A right lane of southbound I-5 between 44th Avenue West to 220th Street Southwest will close from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Sunday, June 20, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 - The 44th Avenue West on-ramp to southbound I-5 will close from 10 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Sunday, June 20, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 – Two right lanes of southbound I-5 between 44th Avenue West to 220th Street Southwest will close from 11 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Sunday, June 20, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 – Three right lanes of southbound I-5 between 44th Avenue West to 220th Street Southwest will close from 11:59 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, June 21, to the evening of Thursday, June 24 – The northbound lane of SR 203 from East Eugene Street to East Rutherford Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.
  • Monday, June 21 and Tuesday, June 22 - A single lane on SR 534 from I-5 to SR-9 will be closed overnight from 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.
  • Monday, June 21, to the morning of Friday, June 25 - The eastbound SR 104 on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close from 8 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, June 21, to the morning of Friday, June 25 – The Montlake Boulevard on-ramp to eastbound SR 520 will close from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, June 21, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 – A lane on eastbound SR 520 between I-5 and Montlake Boulevard will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Monday, June 21, to the morning of Friday, June 25 – The northbound I-5 off-ramp to Olive Way will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.

  • Tuesday, June 22, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 – Two right lanes of northbound I-5 between the Union Slough Bridge and the Ebey Slough Bridge will close from 8:30 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 22, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 – A lane in each direction of SR 522 (Lake City Way NE) between Northeast 143rd Street and Northeast 147th Street will close from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m.
  • June 22 - The southbound I-5 off-ramp to SR 530 will close from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 22, to the morning of Thursday, June 24 - Two left lanes on westbound SR 520 between Northeast 40th Street and 148th Avenue Northeast will close from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m.
  • Tuesday, June 22, to the morning of Thursday, June 24 – The Northeast 40th Street on-ramp to westbound SR 520 will close from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Tuesday, June 22, to the morning of Thursday, June 24 – The westbound SR 520 off-ramp to 148th Avenue Northeast will close from 9:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • Tuesday, June 22, to the morning of Wednesday, June 23 – The HOV and adjacent lane on westbound I-90 from the east end of the Mount Baker Tunnel to Rainier Avenue South will close from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m.
  • June 23 - Two right lanes on southbound I-5 at the Stillaguamish River Bridge will close from 12:30 a.m. to 4 a.m.
  • On US 97 between milepost 301 and 314 (south of Tonasket), Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., expect flagger controlled traffic with delays up to 20 minutes. Monday and Tuesday the contractor is repairing pavement, Wednesday and Thursday the mainline will be paved, and Friday the contractor will stripe the new pavement.
Special Events
  • Flammable cargo is prohibited on SR 520 eastbound & westbound from Montlake Blvd (MP 1) to 84th Ave NE (MP 5).
