US 395 - NSC - Columbia to Freya - New Segment

Project News

This project was advertised for construction contractor bids in March, 2018.

Needs and Benefits

This project includes grading, sub-surface material, asphalt base layer, and Portland Cement Concrete Pavement to form about a mile of main freeway lanes. Includes completion of the Freya Street Interchange ramps. This mile of freeway continues the construction series in the 10.5-mile highway.  When the NSC fully completed, travel time between Wandermere and I-90 will be reduced to approximately 12 minutes; fewer trucks will be on the local arterials, because they will be using the freeway for north and south destination points

Timeline

The project will get underway in spring 2018 and take up to 12 months to construct.
