I-5 - 116th St NE Interchange - Tulalip Tribes Lead - Road closures

Most construction will take place behind temporary concrete barriers during the day. Many partial lane and shoulder closures will happen at night.
However, drivers can expect one overnight full closure of I-5 at 116th Street Northeast from midnight to 3 a.m. During that closure, contract crews will test the water and sewer pipes over the interstate to make sure these services will work.

116th Street Northeast over I-5 will also be completely closed overnight for a maximum of five nights so contractor crews can install the traffic signal system and sign bridges.
The closures will be from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m.
The exact dates for that full closure have not been determined, but below is the planned detour route. The 116th ramps to and from I-5 will remain open while the bridge is closed.

On- and off-ramp closures will happen overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. At separate times on- and off-ramps from I-5 and 116th Street Northeast will be closed.
