I-405 - SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project – Project detours

The weekend closure of southbound SR 167, along with all associated I-405 and SR 167 ramps, has been rescheduled to the weekend of Sept. 21-24. The closures are scheduled from 8:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21 to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24.


As part of the I-405/SR 167 Interchange Direct Connector Project, crews will install a new fish-passable culvert at Rolling Hills Creek. In order to install the western half of the culvert, crews will close southbound SR 167 for one full weekend.

This work is weather-dependent.

Southbound SR 167 Full Weekend Closure – Friday, Sept. 21 to Monday, Sept. 24

During the full weekend closure from 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, to 5 a.m. Monday, Sept. 24:

  • Friday, Sept. 21, to the morning of Monday, Sept. 24 – All lanes of southbound SR 167 between I-405 and South 180th Street will be FULLY CLOSED from 8:30 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday.
  • Friday, Sept. 21, to the morning of Monday, Sept. 24 – The northbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167 will be closed from 8:30 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. A signed detour will be in place.
  • Friday, Sept. 21, to the morning of Monday, Sept. 24 – The southbound I-405 ramp to southbound SR 167 will be closed from 8:30 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. A signed detour will be in place.
  • Friday, Sept. 21, to the morning of Monday, Sept. 24 – The southbound SR 167 ramp to northbound I-405 will be closed from 8:30 p.m. Friday until 5 a.m. Monday. A signed detour will be in place.

The map below shows the available detours during the full weekend closure of southbound SR 167 between I-405 and South 180th Street. The dates at the top of the map are the previously scheduled closure dates.
