Blocking Incidents
  • SR 21 milepost 145.5 at Gold Creek, 17 miles south of Republic has a one-lane bridge with a 10 mile per hour speed limit until further notice. Follow traffic control in place and yield to on-coming traffic.
  • Mission Ave will be closed from Long Rd to Barker Rd for road reconstruction beginning June 18, 2018 until November 16, 2018. Detour is provided. Local access allowed.
  • Starting 1 October, Stevens St. will be reduced to two lanes for utility work, from 7:00 AM until 3:00 PM daily, between Spokane Falls Blvd and Main. After 3:00 pm each day 1 lane will remain closed until about November 30th at 3:00 pm. Expect moderate to long delays.
  • SR20, Sherman Pass is: bare and wet, with ice in places. There are no restrictions at this time..
Construction Closures
  • Construction on US 2 both directions from milepost 297.0 near Deer Rd to milepost 299.9 near Colbert Rd. Roadway users should be alert for possible lane restrictions during non-commute hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Spokane County will have lane restrictions for road improvements on the Palouse Hwy from 55th Ave to 61st Ave, including sidewalks, curb ramps, storm sewer, and landscaping. Please watch for flaggers, there will be delays. This project is schedule through the end of November 2018.
  • City of Spokane: Sunset Blvd is reduced to one lane in each direction from Royal to Lindeke Street for grinding and paving. Expect delays.
  • Spokane County: Will have the road closed to install County sewer on Little Spokane Drive from Little Spokane Dr Connection to Shady Slope Rd until the end of November 2018. Detour in place along Wandermere Rd, Midway Rd, and Shady Slope Rd. Expect delays and use other routes.
  • The City of Spokane: Martin Luther King Jr. is closed between Pine Street and Sherman Street for construction. Use other routes and expect delays.
  • Spokane County will have alternating flagged traffic on Forker Road between Jacobs Rd and Progress Rd. for road construction. Be prepared to stop. Allow extra time and expect delays.
  • Construction on SR 21 both directions from milepost 74.0 to milepost 91.8 near SR 2 until further notice. Roadway users should be alert for flaggers and or pilot cars directing single-lane, alternating traffic with some delays when work is underway.
  • Construction on US 395 Spur - NSC both directions at the Freya Roundabouts Monday - Friday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Roadway users should be alert for occasional traffic control.
  • The 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave Bridge westbound onramps are scheduled to open to traffic on November 30th. In addition the 2nd Ave offramp to Hamilton will close Sunday November 5th through November.
