Blocking Incidents
  • SR 410 Chinook Pass: Due to spring snow storms and a construction project in the Mount Rainier National Park, Chinook Pass will not reopen to traffic until June 11. Chinook Pass is closed between Crystal Mountain Boulevard, about 12 miles northwest of the summit, and Morse Creek, five miles east of the summit.
  • The Iron Goat Rest Area on US 2 at milepost 58, six miles west of the summit of Stevens Pass, is closed for the winter.
  • SR 123 Cayuse Pass (elev. 4,675 feet) is closed for the season within the boundaries of Mount Rainier National Park between Crystal Mountain Boulevard and the Stevens Canyon Road entrance.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 24 to milepost 29: Monday May 21 through Thursday May 24 between 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. there will be single lane closures for pavement sealing.
  • US-12 eastbound milepost 198 to milepost 199: Monday May 21 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. there will be a single lane closure for bridge inspection.
Construction Closures
  • Friday, May 18, to the morning of Monday, May 21 - The westbound State Route 204 off-ramp to westbound US 2 will be closed from 7 p.m. Friday to 4 a.m. Monday.
  • On SR 17 Monday - Thursday, 6 a.m. - 7 p.m., expect less than 20 minute delays with alternating one-lane flagger/pilot car controlled traffic and intersection flagging as needed where crews are fog sealing and pot hole patching between SR 282 at Ephrata and SR 174 at Leahy Junction.
  • I-90: There are a number of active construction and maintenance work zones across I-90 this week, which could cause some minor delays added travel time to your trip. Between North Bend and the summit of Snoqualmie Pass there are lane closures eastbound, 24 hours a day through Thursday as crews make repairs to the roadway. Just east of the summit between mileposts 57 to 67, both directions will be reduced to one lane from 8 p.m. to 9 a.m. each night through Thursday morning.
  • US-12 White Pass milepost 140 to milepost 166: Monday May 21 to Thursday May 24, traffic should be prepared for alternating one-way traffic, in various locations, during daytime hours. Drivers should anticipate up to 20 minute delays.
  • I-90 Snoqualmie Pass rock blasting is scheduled for Monday May 21, Tuesday May 22, and Wednesday May 23 starting at 7 p.m. During the closure eastbound traffic will be stopped at Gold Creek milepost 56 and westbound traffic will be stopped at Price Creek milepost 61. No services are available eastbound past exit 53 or westbound past exit 70 during the closure. Plan for one hour or more of added travel time.
  • Saturday, May 19, to the morning of Monday, May 21 - The right lane of eastbound State Route 522 between State Route 9 and Paradise Lake Road will be closed from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly.
  • US-12 both directions milepost 198 to milepost 199: Monday May 21 and Tuesday May 22 from 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. there will be single lane closures for bridge inspections.
  • SR-903 milepost 2 to milepost 10 both directions: Monday and Tuesday May 21 and 22 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. drivers can expect intermittent lane closures for sidewalk and paving operations.
  • US-12 both directions milepost 151 to milepost 165: Monday May 21 through Thursday May 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. there will be single lane flagger controlled traffic for maintenance activity.
  • SR-903 milepost 5 Pennsylvania Ave. in the City of Roslyn: Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures Monday May 21 and Tuesday May 22 for sidewalk work and paving operations.
  • SR-410 milepost 116 both directions: Monday May 21 there will be a mobile striping operation.
  • US-97 milepost 94 to 149: Thursday May 24 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. there will be a mobile striping operation.
  • SR-10 milepost 88 to 104: Thursday May 24 from 6 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. there will be a mobile striping operation.
