Blocking Incidents
  • Monday, Sept. 17 to the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 18: Both directions of US 97 between the SR 14/US 97 interchange (milepost 100.6) and Toppenish (milepost 57.0) will close intermittently with flaggers, overnight, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., for transporting a windmill transformer.
  • The SR 162 Spiketon Creek Bridge has been permanently closed due to recently discovered pier settlement. A detour is in effect using Mundy Loss Road, SR 410 and SR 165. View our blog for updates about the bridge's future.
  • I-82 milepost 24 eastbound Selah Creek Rest Area: Wednesday Sept. 26, 7 a.m. through Thursday Sept. 27, 1 p.m. the ramp to the rest area will be closed for maintenance work.
Construction Closures
  • US-12 milepost 158 to 168, east of White Pass: Drivers will experience delays near the Rimrock tunnel. A detour is set up around Rimrock Lake on Tieton Reservoir Road. This section of US 12 just south of Rimrock tunnel is scheduled to reopen Monday, Oct. 8. The detour adds about 25 minutes of added travel time. Crews are replacing the Wildcat Creek Bridge.
  • I-90 North Bend to Vantage Bridge: Day and night time lane closures in various locations this week for maintenance work and construction activity over Snoqualmie Pass. Plan for added travel time. Maintenance work will require lane closures west of Ellensburg, Easton, Cle Elum, and Vantage vicinities.
  • On SR 285 through Wenatchee Sunday through Thursday NIGHTS, 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., expect single and multi-lane closures on Mission St. and N. Wenatchee Ave. and some side streets as crews are repairing pavement on side streets from Bridge to Second and grinding pavement on Mission there, as well. Sidewalk and curb ramp work continues from Kittitas to Fifth along with signal work from Kittitas to Horse Lake Road and crews are also raising utility covers on Miller and North Wenatchee Avenue.
  • On I-90 westbound just east of Jones Rd (MP 23) the right lane is closed due to roadwork.
  • Monday, Sept. 24, to the morning of Friday, Sept. 28 - The eastbound SR 520 collector-distributor between Northeast 40th Street and Northeast 51st Street will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
  • US-12 MP 198 Nelson Bridges, west of Yakima: Through Oct. 12 – Both directions of traffic are reduced to a single lane seven days a weeks, 24 hours a day. Traffic should anticipate minimal delays.
    Wednesday, Sept. 26 through Saturday, Sept. 29 – The westbound bridge will be closed to traffic each night from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. the next morning. A detour will be in place using Powerhouse Rd.; drivers should anticipate minimal delays.
  • I-82 eastbound milepost 24: Thursday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Sept. 28 – Eastbound traffic will be reduced to one lane during daytime hours. Drivers should anticipate minimal delays.
  • US-12, MP 148 to 151 both directions: Thursday, Sept. 27 and Friday, Sept. 28 - During daylight hours traffic should be prepared for alternating one-way traffic with pilot car operation. Drivers should anticipate up to 20 minute delays. SR 123, MP 0 to MP 2:

  • On US 97 over Blewett Pass Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., expect some occasional lane closures on the South, Swauk Creek side, Milepost 160 and traffic shifts in the 3 lane section on the North, Tronson Creek side, MP 165 while the contractors finish work on the culverts and stream beds.
  • On US 2 at School Street Monday through Thursday NIGHTS, 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., expect the right lane to be closed where a Wenatchee City contractor is installing a sewer line in the right shoulder.
  • US-12 milepost 142 to 189: Tuesday, Sept. 25 to Thursday, Sept. 27 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Rumble strip work and fog seal. Piloted 1-Lane closures.
  • SR-903 milepost 2 to 10: Tuesday, Sept. 25 through Thursday, Sept. 27: Finish pavement markings if needed between MP 2 and MP 10, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., this will be a mobile operation. At milepost 1 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. Monday to Friday. Traffic will be detoured along 2nd Street via Montgomery Ave and Bullitt Ave. Periodic lane closure at Penn Ave.
  • US-12 milepost 138 to 166: Monday Sept. 24 through Thursday Sept. 27 between the hours of 6:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. crews will be conducting culvert inspections and shoulder work. Minimal impact to travelers is anticipated.
  • SR-821 milepost 0 to 2: Monday Sept. 24 to Thursday Sept. 27 - SR-821 MP 0 to 2.5 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. crews will be pavement sealing the roadway. Piloted 1-lane closures will be in effect.
