Tips to turn on the orange:

Orange flood lights can be purchased to temporarily replace regular flood lights.
Orange gels or orange Plexiglass can be used to turn regular floodlights orange. Make sure they are kept a safe distance from lights that get hot.
Fountains are great because many have lights that can be set to orange or can be temporarily turned orange with bulbs or gels. Also, the water can be dyed orange.
Some buildings already have lighting systems that can be set to remain orange.
Orange luminaries (orange paper bags with sand in the bottom and a candle or battery powered "candle") are another option.

Media and event tips:

Notify the media why you are turning your fountain, building, landmark, etc., orange.
Have a ceremony to kick off your effort such as turning on the lights, lighting luminaries, etc.
Feature something on your web site such as link to this site.
Put something in your newsletter.
Participate in other work zone awareness activities.
