Parking Stakeholder Group (2011 - present)
Construction on Seattle’s central waterfront has begun. In addition to the SR 99 Tunnel Project, the City of Seattle is planning other work as part of the Alaskan Way Viaduct Replacement Program, including:
Each of these projects will impact on-street parking along the waterfront. The City of Seattle and WSDOT are working together to develop and implement mitigation strategies to offset the loss of on-street parking during construction.
Stakeholder workgroup
A workgroup of Pioneer Square and central waterfront business owners and other stakeholders is providing feedback on mitigation strategies. Workgroup meeting materials are listed below.
