US 395 - North Spokane Corridor - Parksmith Interchange

Overview
This project completed the interchange at Parksmith Road near the Mead community, north of Spokane. It included final grading, gravel sub-surface, and final paving of the northbound and southbound on and off ramps. Most of the basic grading of the ramps was a component of an earlier NSC grading project.

The Parksmith interchange project was the final component in the northern 5 mile section of the North Spokane Corridor.  The interchange provides connectivity to the retail and residential Mead community as well as the nearby commercial and industrial property.

Partnerships & Cooperation
WSDOT seeks to address the concerns of tribal nations using the process outlined in section 106 of The National Historical Preservation Act and the WSDOT Tribal Consultation Policy adopted in 2003 by the Transportation Commission as part of the WSDOT Centennial Accord Plan.
