US 395 - Franklin County Line to Jantz Rd. - Southbound Paving - Complete December 2007

Status

December 2007

  Weekly Construction Update
Awarded to Granite Northwest Inc. of Yakima with a construction bid of $4,149,158.

This project resurfaces the southbound lanes of US 395 with additional paving in the I-90/US 395 Interchange area at Ritzville.

Why is WSDOT resurfacing southbound US 395?

The End Result
A smoother driving surface and extended roadway life.  This will be achieved by overlaying the existing pavement with 2 inches of Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA).

Project Benefits

Preserve the pavement for the next 10 to 15 years.
