Overview
Construction began June 22 and was complete July 23, 2009. This project created a new, safe connection from the Apple Capital Loop Trail (ACLT) at the east end of the US 2/97 Odabashian bridge to the local road system north of the bridge in Douglas County. A related project on the west end of the bridge- US 2 - Wenatchee - Pedestrian and Bike Trail Connection- was completed in 2008. Together, these projects make significant improvements to the safety and accessibility of the trail system.
