Overview
This Roadway Preservation project repaved about 15 miles of US 2 starting at the Town of Creston and finishing near the intersection of Rocklyn Road. Also, work was done on SR 28 inside of the city of Davenport.
 | Improves Safety
Spot safety and draingage items were incorporated to improve the overall performance of the roadway.
|
 | Economic Incentive
This section of US 2 was in need of pavement restoration due to the deterioration of the existing asphalt. This preserves the underlying roadway avoiding the higher cost of a full rebuild.
