Overview
The existing concrete pavement panels have shifted creating a rough roadway. In addition, the asphalt pavement sections are due for resurfacing. Southbound US 195 was done in 2003.
Steel dowel bars were placed between the concrete panels to stop further movement. The concrete surface was then smoothed using a grinder. The existing asphalt sections was resurfaced.
 | Economic Incentive
This project will create a smoother roadway and preserve the existing concrete panels on northbound US 195. Asphalt resurfacing protects the underlying roadway structure.
