Overview
This project covered a four-mile stretch of US 12 from Joselyn Street SW to I-5 in Thurston County. This section was projected to drop below the adopted standards for pavement condition. By overlaying the existing roadway with hot mix asphalt, the pavement condition rating increased to within the adopted standards. The project was completed Oct. 2007.
 | Improves Safety
Safety improvements made to the roadway include pavement repair, new hot mix asphalt, guardrail updates, striping, signing, delineation, and shoulder finishing.
