The eroded slope nipped at the shoulder of US 101 near Hoodsport. This project reinforces the slope with rock, ensuring a safe and reliable roadway for motorists.

Overview
This project on US 101 near Hoodsport in Mason County created a new rock barrier on this wave-eroded location of US 101. This project preserves the integrity of US 101, a major transportation route vital to the area.

By reducing the threat of slides and delays this route will be safer and more reliable.
