Overview
WSDOT and the city of Marysville partnered to build this project in anticipation of the city constructing a fourth leg to the west of the current SR 9/SR 92 intersection. WSDOT widened the intersection and added turn lanes.

An additional southbound through lane and turn lanes reduces the chance of congestion-related rear-end and sideswipe collisions.
