SR 526 - 40th Ave W to Casino Road - Complete June 2009

Overview
WSDOT and contractor Granite Northwest crews repaved nearly three miles of State Route 526 near Mukilteo from 40th Avenue West to Casino Road. We also repaved the ramps at Airport Road, Seaway Boulevard, and Boeing Access roads. 

Crews also completed safety improvements including replacing aging median guardrail with concrete barrier, improving signing and pavement markings, replacing traffic signals, and installing a new illumination system.

We selected Granite Northwest, Inc. as the contractor for this project. We began construction in June 2008 and completed the project in June 2009.
