Partnerships & Cooperation
On April 29, there was a small diesel spill at Dash Point State Park in Federal Way. As much as 300 gallons were spilled from a tank located in a park parking lot in a constuction staging area.

Dash Point State Park was closed for over a week as contractor Long Painting Company worked to contain and clean up the spill with the help of NRC Environmental Services.

Dash Point State Park reopened to visitors on May 8, 2010 at 8 a.m.
