The confluence where Rattlesnake Creek enters the Naches River

Overview
This project constructed bank stabilization elements to address repeated slope failures threatening SR 410 where Rattlesnake Creek enters the Naches River. The Naches river bank adjacent to SR 410 experienced serious erosion during high water where Rattlesnake Creek joins the Naches River. Repeated slope failures threatened the SR 410 roadbed, requiring frequent maintenance attention. Maintenance costs in this area will be reduced dramatically.

How You Benefit
Cross GlyphImproves Safety
This project eliminated future erosion problems and creates a safer SR 410 roadway for motorists. Washouts will be reduced and river bank will be more stable.
Leaf Glyph Protects Environment
Correcting the chronic erosion problems for this SR 410 location eliminates the need for frequent and costly maintenance repairs.
