Overview
On Oct. 11, 2009, a massive landslide uplifted and destroyed a quarter mile of State Route 410 and changed the landscape of the Nile Valley forever.
For three years, drivers traveled along the 35 mph detour through the Nile Valley community.
By August 2012, WSDOT and crews constructed a permanent, 55 mph route along the toe of the landslide.
