Overview
The old Manette Bridge, which was built in 1930, was structurally deficient and functionally obsolete.
The new Manette Bridge was built to current codes and engineering standards and accommodates motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians with 11-foot-wide lanes, 5-foot-wide shoulders and a 10-foot-wide pedestrian walkway.
 | Improves Safety
Wider shoulders and sidewalks enhance bicycle and pedestrian mobility.
|
 | Economic Incentive
This project preserves the important connection across the Port Washington Narrows.
