SR 27 - 32nd Avenue to SR 290

Status

April 2013

This project will pave State Route 27 from 32nd Avenue to the vicinity of Mansfield Avenue, then make repairs and crack seal from Mansfield to Trent Avenue (SR 290).

Why is WSDOT paving this highway?
This project preserves the roadway by milling (grinding down) and repaving SR 27 from 32nd to Mansfield then repairing and crack-sealing the existing asphalt from Mansfield to Trent.

The End Result
Upgrades the structural integrity and extends the life of the roadway.

Paving upgrades the structural integrity and extends the roadway life.  Crack-sealing prevents water from infiltrating the underlying roadway.

What is the project timeline?
Construction will be underway and complete in the 2013 season.
